Practical and Safe Partition Solutions
Jumbo stud partitions are used to form compartment walls where height and fire requirements are a factor. Jumbo stud partitioning can be built to over 10m in height and with a fire rating of up to two hours, typically they are used in warehouse to segregate areas.
Based on a 146mm metal stud and track system with often two layers of plasterboard either side, the typical thickness of the system is 200mm. The solid plasterboard surface is thereafter taped/skimmed and decorated in a contract Matt emulsion. Doors and windows can be provided to suit.
