Client brief
Beta Power Engineering in Stockport were in need of further offices and welfare areas, with no space available at ground floor level their only option was to expand upwards.
our solution
Having previously installed a mezzanine floor for Beta Power Engineering back in 2005, we designed an extension to house the new first floor office accommodation.
Works started towards the end of August 2024 and the racking was cleared on the ground floor in readiness for the installation of the mezzanine floor. The mezzanine took just two days to complete, this was followed by the fire protection to the underside of the mezzanine floor so that our client could get back to their day to day operations below the mezzanine.
Our works consisted of all partitions above the mezzanine, mezzanine floor, fire rated ceilings, frameless glass offices, decorations, flooring, electrical works, air conditioning, plumbing and all carpentry works.
the result
This project took just 8 weeks to deliver & provides Beta Power Engineering not just with a professional & warm space to bring their teams together but also an inviting space for their prospective clients. Beta Power has been fantastic to work with and it was great to help play a part in celebrating their 50th year anniversary with a feature timeline print of their business achievements applied to the manifestation of the glazing.
