Client brief
DB Schenker is a leader in supply chain management and logistics solutions. Their newly acquired warehouse in Tamworth demanded a substantial mezzanine to help cope with customer growth.
our solution
TDI was awarded the contract in January 2021, having worked with DB Schenker previously at numerous sites across the UK.
A sizeable 2800m2 warehouse mezzanine floor some 187m long x 15.0m wide was supplied & installed, including full One Hour Fire Protection and various staircase enclosures to comply with Building Control. Column positions were paramount so as not to interfere with the existing dock-level doors and ground-floor operations.

The warehouse mezzanine floor was completed within the timescales and budgets set out and allowed our client to expand their current floor space without uprooting and relocating.
