Client brief
Falcon Tenders, a leading British manufacturer of fully bespoke superyacht tenders, recently expanded its operations into a 2,300m² fully climate-controlled manufacturing and office facility in Southampton, UK. Supported by a multi-million-pound investment from the UK-based LNT Group, the state-of-the-art complex incorporates dedicated spray ovens, overhead electric hoists, and advanced design and technology centres, providing a world-class environment for production and innovation.
To maximise the functionality of the new facility, Falcon Tenders required the installation of two substantial mezzanine floor structures. The first was designed to provide additional storage capacity, while the second created high-quality office accommodation complete with a dedicated viewing platform, enabling prospective clients to observe the company’s manufacturing processes and operational capabilities firsthand.
our solution
To maximise the available operational space, two bespoke mezzanine floor structures were designed and installed. Particular attention was paid to the location of the supporting steel columns to ensure seamless integration with, and minimal impact on, the client’s existing ground-floor operations. Both mezzanines were delivered and installed back-to-back, with the works completed during May 2026.
the result
The completed project has provided Falcon Tenders with an additional 490m² of valuable office and storage space, significantly enhancing the functionality and capacity of the facility. The scheme was delivered successfully, meeting all agreed timescales and budgetary requirements.
