Client brief
With rapid growth came new logistical challenges, TSL Lighting in Basingstoke had outgrown their existing premises and required a new & bigger purpose built space – a space not just to house operations, but to support growth, creativity and collaboration.
The new site located just around the corner needed to include facility training rooms, meeting spaces, and pre-visualisation suites, laying the groundwork for TSL’s evolving role as a hub for industry learning & innovation, offering training and knowledge sharing to the wider events community.
our solution
Following the installation of a large two-tier mezzanine floor, the client identified the need for additional office space on the single-tier level to accommodate new training rooms, meeting areas, and breakout spaces.
After a competitive tender process, TDI was awarded the contract in February 2025. Over a 16-week period, the space was successfully transformed to meet the client’s requirements.
The scope of work included the installation of fire-rated acoustic partitions and wall linings, fire stopping, suspended ceilings, single and double-glazed frameless glass partitions, as well as all carpentry, plumbing, air conditioning and ventilation systems. Additional works comprised carpet and LVT flooring, feature walls, signage and branding, and final decorations.

All works were completed on time and within budget much to the highest possible standards. It was a pleasure to work with TSL Lighting and collaborate with them on their journey.
