Client brief
DP World is a global logistics and supply chain company that manages approximately 10% of global trade. They provide end-to-end logistics solutions, linking ports and terminals with freight transport, warehousing, and digital trade platforms. Their 598,000 sq. ft warehouse facility in Coventry that we previously worked on in 2024 required some reconfiguration changes to suit a new operation.
our solution
Following a successful tender process, TDI Systems Ltd was appointed as Principal Contractor to manage and deliver the project, providing comprehensive CDM services throughout the construction phase. This included the coordination and supervision of multiple contractors appointed directly by DP World Logistics. Works started in January 2026 & were successfully handed over in June.
As part of our scope of works, TDI Systems Ltd designed, supplied, and installed a new welfare facility to support the client’s expanding operations. The facility comprised modern office accommodation, meeting rooms, and welfare amenities, including toilet facilities. To maximise the available footprint and facilitate future growth, the area was also constructed with a mezzanine level, creating additional usable space for future expansion.
TDI Systems Ltd was further responsible for the delivery of all mechanical services, including the installation of Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems and VRV air conditioning. Our package also encompassed associated civil engineering works, floor finishes, and comprehensive internal decorations throughout the facility.

The completed project has provided DP World Logistics with enhanced welfare facilities, significantly improving both the operational functionality and overall capacity of the site. Delivered successfully in accordance with the agreed programme and budget, the scheme met all project objectives while supporting the client’s ongoing operational growth and future requirements.
